Greetings from the Indian Institute of Technology- Ropar!!
In the last 70 years, the Indian Institutes of Technology have become synonymous with quality technical education in India. India has 23 IITs spread across the length and breadth of the country.
Indian Institute of Technology Ropar (IIT Ropar) is one of these IITs, which is being set up by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India, to expand the reach and enhance the quality of technical education. This institute is committed to providing state-of-the-art technical education in a variety of fields and also for facilitating the transmission of knowledge in keeping with the latest developments in pedagogy.
At present, IIT Ropar offers Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) and Masters in Technology (M.Tech.) program for our International students in the following disciplines: Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering. IIT Ropar also offers a Masters in Science (M.Sc.) program in the following disciplines: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. IIT Ropar offers M.S (Research) program in the following disciplines: Computer Science and Engineering and Electrical Engineering.
In addition to the above, our vibrant and brand new campus offers:
