Multifunctional Chemistry Lab – Fuman Faculty of Engineering
The Chemistry Laboratory at the Fuman Faculty of Engineering is a multifunctional lab where all types of chemistry experiments are conducted, including General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, and Physical Chemistry. This lab started its operations in the second semester of the 2009-2010 academic year. Every semester, students from the Chemical Engineering and Petroleum Engineering departments are trained here. In addition to training, research projects are also conducted in this lab.

Laboratory Equipment:
- Water Bath: A device used for testing, material combination, drug testing, and industrial incubation methods. It operates within the temperature range from room temperature to 60°C.
- Distillation Device: A laboratory device used for purifying drinking water through evaporation and condensation. It produces distilled water, free from impurities.
- pH Meter: An electronic device used to measure the acidity or alkalinity of a solution.
- Oven: Used for drying and sterilizing glass and metal containers, with temperature ranges up to 350°C.
- Magnetic Stirrer or Heater: A laboratory device used to mix liquids and, if needed, heat them simultaneously.
- Centrifuge: A device that separates materials using centrifugal force by spinning them around a central axis.
- Electric Furnace: Used for heating and burning materials at high temperatures, reaching up to 1200°C.
