We are inviting young scientists, researchers, and innovators from OIC member and observer states to take part in the III OIC Youth Scientific Congress, which will be held on November 6-9, 2024 in Kazan, the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan. The Congress is organized by the Academy of Youth Diplomacy and the Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University in partnership with OIC Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation (COMSTECH), Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum (ICYF), Ministry of Youth Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan. The purpose of the Congress is to consolidate the status of the international dialogue platform in the Republic of Tatarstan providing conditions for the sustainable development of international scientific cooperation with the OIC countries. We invite students, young scientists, researchers and innovators from Russia and OIC countries to take part in the work in 5 main sections:

  • Current Challenges in Biomedicine and Biotechnology;
  • Petroleum Geology Oil and Gas Technologies;
  • International Relations and International Law: Global Framework for Sustainable Development;
  • Modern Educational Technologies and Approaches: Interdisciplinary Research and Practice;
  • Urban Studies: Architecture, Design, Art.

The main objectives of the event are the strengthening of the Republic of Tatarstan as an international scientific dialogue platform, created as a result of the programme of events "Kazan - Youth Capital of OIC 2022", which included the I OIC Youth Scientific Congress, which gathered more than 1400 applications from 56 countries, as well as the formation of prerequisites for the sustainable development of international scientific cooperation with the region. The II OIC Youth Scientific Congress was held in 2023 and brought together 150 experts, young scientists and innovators from 25 countries, selected among more than 1000 applications. The result of the Congress will be the published collection of the finalists' scientific theses.
